Improving Barn Air Quality Through Positive Pressure Tube Systems and Barn Design

As a goat farmer good quality air is high on the list of priorities in your kid barn.  All too often the air quality in the kid barn is not optimal, this is an issue goat farmers struggle with especially in the winter.  The Ontario Association of Bovine Practitioners is hosting a positive pressure tube ventilation workshop.  Although it will focus on calf barns, the information can be transferred to kid barns.  Dr. Ken Nordlund, a renowned expert on ventilation, is the key note speaker for this educational event.  This is  an excellent opportunity to learn more about how to ventilate your kid barns properly.  This one day seminar will be held in Elora on January 14th, 2015.  Pre-registration is required.  For more information please see the attached flyer.
